Tottenham Hotspur are said to be looking into the transfer of Lewis Cook. The England international is said to be the target of a £30 million bid from Spurs according to the Daily Star, who are looking to improve their midfield position.
Cook’s arrival would put a lot of player’s positions in jeopardy at Tottenham Hotspur. One of those players would be his England under-20 World Cup-winning team-mate Joshua Onomah.
The 21-year-old had an excellent tournament with Cook in 2017 which led to a loan spell at Aston Villa last season. He struggled to find his best form at Villa Park and looks to have fallen down the pecking order at Spurs.
An untimely knee injury set him aside for the club’s pre-season tour and the arrival of Cook would push him further down the pecking order.

Which is why Bournemouth must ask for him to be included in any potential deal.
Onomah is an undoubted talent. The youngster has the potential to be a future star but, like many before him, it appears Tottenham might be a step too far.
Bournemouth, however, could be the perfect environment for him to thrive. Onomah would be playing regular football and under the excellent guidance of Eddie Howe as manager.
Bournemouth would be cashing in on one excellent talent, but getting the man that played beside him for England last summer as a replacement.
It could end up being a great piece of business from the Cherries.
