Bournemouth are looking to replace Dominic Solanke after he was sold to Tottenham and are looking to a South American star to do so.
The Cherries were powerless to resist Spurs as they paid the £65m required to sign Solanke over the weekend.
For Bournemouth, the key is now replacing Solanke after his departure left them light up top with just under a week until the new season kicks off.
However, it looks like they are acting quickly and Fabrizio Romano has suggested that a move has now been made for £64m Brazilian, Evanilson.

Bournemouth make approach for Evanilson to replace Dominic Solanke
Taking to X to provide an update on Bournemouth’s search for a new number nine, Fabrizio Romano has said that Porto striker Evanilson is now a target.
According to Romano, the Cherries have submitted an official bid for the Porto ace which has been rejected.
It comes as Nottingham Forest have also seen an approach rebuffed as well by Porto.
Evanilson enjoyed a fine season last term, rattling in 25 goals for the Portuguese giants.
Still only 24, the forward has also got senior Brazil caps to his name.
Evanilson a man in-demand
While this is an ambitious move for Bournemouth the name of Evanilson is not a brand new one when it comes to English clubs.
Indeed, it was only back in January that Arsenal were reportedly considering a bid for the striker if they failed to land Ivan Toney.
Of course, neither move ever materialised, and it’s possible that the apparent £64m clause in Evanilson’s contract caused problems.
It would be a massive surprise to see Bournemouth shell out more than £60m on a striker though, so any approach here is either surely a loan or a much lower fee.
