Bournemouth defender Steve Cook has hilariously ruined a Newcastle United supporter on Twitter – as he looked to stage a Q&A session by asking supporters for some questions to answer.
Cook, 28, has been first choice for Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth once again this season has continues to go under the radar as one of the most consistent centre-backs in the lower half of the Premier League.
With Simon Francis sidelined, Cook has worn the captain’s armband for much of the season, and has clocked up 24 appearances. Quickly becoming an icon at the Vitality Stadium, he now has a whopping 329 outings under his belt.
As many professional footballers are currently doing, Cook told supporters he would be doing a Q&A session over the weekend and asked supporters to send him a few questions to answer. A Newcastle fan cheekily asked, “Who are you?”
Who are you?

Cook scored an excellent header back in April 2017 at St. James’ Park as Bournemouth beat Newcastle 1-0, which was one of his 10 Premier League goals throughout the defender’s career, having scored 21 times for Bournemouth at senior level.
He responded to the Newcastle fan on Monday morning by uploading a video of the towering effort, and captioning the post with “this guy” and a wink emoji.
