Tottenham Hotpsur have been handed a potential boost in their quest to offload Kieran Trippier, with Juventus reportedly agreeing to sell Joao Cancelo.
Tuttomercatoweb claim new Old Lady manager Maurizio Sarri has decided to cash in on the full-back, amid reported interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Cancelo actually had a great season in 2018/19 after spending the term before on loan at Inter Milan.
But it would appear Juve are ready to make a quick profit on the Portugal international, with City having been linked with a €60 million/£54 million move.
Apparently former Chelsea boss Sarri isn’t so keen on the 25-year-old, but one man he is a fan of is Spurs defender Trippier (according to Italian journalist Aurelio Capaldi, via The Star).
TBR’s view
Juve and Sarri’s stance on Cancelo is great news for Spurs, who have been widely reported to be keen to offload Trippier this summer.

The 28-year-old was poor throughout 2018/19, which was somewhat surprising following a brilliant showing at the 2018 World Cup with England.
Juve’s apparent interest in £65,000-a-week Trippier (Spotrac) is strange given Cancelo’s bright season in Turin, and Spurs will now hope for a favour from Sarri.
