Romano claimed on Saturday that the 34-year-old has completed a medical and is set to be unveiled soon on a two-year deal.

Here is what some Everton fans said in response – mostly positive reaction:

Begovic joined Bournemouth in 2017 for an undisclosed fee, and was one of their key players before their relegation in 2020.

He has clocked up over 250 Premier League appearances appearances while playing for Bournemouth, Stoke, Chelsea and Portsmouth.

Begovic has one year remaining on his contract, but talkSPORT claims the Championship club may consider letting him go for free.
