Bongani Zungu has addressed Rangers fans in an Instagram post to explain how excited he is to get going following his move to Iborx on Monday.
The Light Blues signed the South African midfielder on a season-long loan deal from French second-tier club Amiens yesterday.
Steven Gerrard’s side have the option to make the deal permanent next summer and the 27-year-old has joined the Gers squad to strengthen the options in the centre of the park.
The no-nonsense central midfielder can drop into a deeper defensive role breaking up play, as well as occupying a box-to-box role.
It looks like he’s going to provide competition and cover for the likes of Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara and Steven Davis in the squad of the Scottish giants.
Zungu has posted a long message on social media following his switch to Rangers and described it as a “very special moment” for me.

TBR’s View:
With Rangers qualifying for the Europa League group stages this season, it was important they got another midfielder through the Ibrox doors during the transfer window and their new addition should be pushing for a starting position.
Zungu has experience in Ligue 1 with Amiens, as well as playing on the international stage 24 times for his country.
Rangers return after the international break for a showdown with bitter rivals Celtic and it seems unlikely that the new midfielder will be chucked straight in for such an important fixture.
