A number of Blackburn Rovers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Harvey Elliott’s display as the Liverpool loanee made his debut for the Championship side on Wednesday night.
Elliott arrived at Ewood Park on the final day of the transfer window. He has already established himself as one of the brightest prospects looking to make the grade at Anfield.

And he looks to be well on his way to impressing at his new club. The 17-year-old made his first appearance for Tony Mowbray’s side this week as they took on Watford.
Ultimately, it proved to be a disappointing night for Rovers. They were beaten 3-1 by the Hornets.

But Elliott received a number of plaudits for his debut display. As shown by Whoscored.com, he completed 35 successful passes, including two key passes.
He also made three successful challenges and three interceptions. And some have noted how impressed they were with his defensive contribution throughout the game.
Several have suggested that the Reds loanee provided one of the few positives from a frustrating night for Blackburn.
Many have tipped Elliott for great things in the future. And they are hopeful that they will benefit from his quality over the coming months before his return to Merseyside.
Here is how some of the supporters reacted to Elliott’s performance…
