Gabby Agbonlahor has now been discussing Manchester United’s potential transfer plans in the January window, and who should be leaving.
Erik ten Hag’s side have been incredibly inconsistent in the first half of the season, adding the occasional good display to a run of disappointing defeats.

And with January and the summer in mind, it’s clear that United’s squad still needs a ton of work.
The jury is out on whether the club’s current decision makers are best placed to lead that transition, but change doesn’t seem to be on the short term horizon.
And with that being said, when speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor identified one Man United player who should be sold in January.
The pundit was fed up with Anthony Martial’s attitude, saying he had become a real issue.
Agbonlahor said: “Well, I won’t say Antony because we’re always onto him so I’ll go with another Anthony, Anthony Martial.
“I feel that he underperforms, he’s moody, he doesn’t look like he’s happy to play football.
“Newcastle away he was throwing his arms up at Ten Hag on the pitch. His goal record is not great for a striker, 63 goals in 209 games.
“He’s one I’d get rid of, but when you’re earning good money and you’ve got a bad attitude like he has and you’re not performing, who’s going to want to buy you? Big problem.”
Gabby Agbonlahor says Man United need to sell Anthony Martial in January
Of course, it’s pretty hard to argue with the merits of Agbonlahor’s words.
Rasmus Hojlund would massively benefit from added competition, a player whose had little time to adjust since his big money move.

At 28-years-old, £36m Martial simply isn’t playing an important role at United, and it’s quite surprising he is still with the club.
Martial’s deal is set to expire in the summer so fans may imagine any January departure may not require a fee.
But either way, it seems very unlikely that Martial will still be a Manchester United player come the new season.
Agbonlahor is right to say that United need to offload players in January, even if his brief mention of Antony seems unlikely.
That being said, it seems the club may now be targeting a ‘special’ PL player in the near future.
