‘Big future ahead’: Tottenham fans react as Jack Clarke nears Stoke City switch

Tottenham fans have been discussing Jack Clarke’s proposed move to Stoke City on social media today, with the youngster close to agreeing a loan move to the Potters.

The Daily Mail claimed earlier in the day that Clarke was all set to sign a short-term deal with Stoke until the end of the season as he looks to get game time under his belt.

Clarke, a £10m signing from Leeds, has apparently impressed Jose Mourinho in training but is struggling for regular minutes, with a number of experienced and quality players ahead of him in the pecking order.

A move to Stoke could give him the chance to shine. Michael O’Neill has got the Potters playing some decent football, and it is expected Clarke is to be given a key role in the system.

Spurs fans, then, have taken to Twitter to have their say on the move for Clarke. It seems, in the main, that Tottenham supporters back this switch, with some holding high hopes for the winger’s future at the club.
