Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has admitted to the club’s official website that he actually felt sick after playing 90 minutes against Leeds yesterday.
Ramsdale put in a commanding display between the sticks yesterday as the Gunners ran out 1-0 winners at Elland Road.
Bukayo Saka’s first-half goal proved to be the winner but Ramsdale played a big part in picking up a vital three points.
The £30 million man pulled off some massive saves, particularly in the second-half, to keep Leeds at bay.
One save saw the ball hit Ramsdale in the sensitive area. And the 24-year-old has admitted that he felt sick after the game as a result.

Ramsdale admits he felt sick
Speaking to Arsenal’s website after the clash at Elland Road, Ramsdale was asked what his best save of the game was.
He said: “The one with my nuts maybe? Although it took a big effect on me, I’m still feeling a bit sick now!
“I’m just thankful I was there today. I have been very critical of myself over recent games from the start of the season where goals have gone in, and there’s questions to be answered the following day. So to help the team out today was great.
“It’s just one of those emotions where now we’ve set our bar so high, standards-wise of how we want to play, and we didn’t reach that. But the overriding emotion is elation because we got three points and a 1-0 win away from home.”

The Gunners were under massive pressure in the second-half and Leeds even had a goal ruled out as VAR judged Patrick Bamford to have fouled Gabriel Magalhaes before smashing the ball past Ramsdale.
The Leeds striker also missed a penalty after William Saliba handled the ball inside the penalty area.
Gabriel was in the thick of the action once again in stoppage time as Leeds thought they were about to get another chance from the spot. The Brazilian kicked out at Bamford and was initially sent-off, but VAR reversed the decision as Bamford was judged to have fouled Gabriel beforehand.
Arsenal had to show serious resolve to grind out a win yesterday and Ramsdale was key for Arteta’s side.
