‘Bielsa wouldn’t have him’: Leeds fans react to Jonjo Shelvey’s comments

Leeds United fans have been responding on Twitter to the comments from Jonjo Shelvey about their manager, Marcelo Bielsa.

Speaking on a podcast with Charlie Austin, Shelvey admitted – albeit a bit tongue-in-cheek – that he wouldn’t fancy playing for Leeds and Bielsa given the amount of running involved.

The comments caused obvious uproar from Newcastle fans, who questioned the attitude of their midfielder given the comments.

Leeds fans, meanwhile, were also all over things on Twitter. A number of Whites supporters took the time out to have their say, and although some did see the humour in Shelvey’s comments, it still didn’t stop the inevitable replies.

And judging by some of the responses, it seems the Elland Road faithful don’t fancy seeing Shelvey in West Yorkshire anyway.
