Bielsa may struggle to justify starting 22-year-old Leeds man vs Watford
Leeds United are set to receive, at least, one boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Watford with Pascal Struijk set to be available after serving a three-match suspension.
What’s the story?
The Whites have had to deal with something of a crisis at centre-back in the last few games.
Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Luke Ayling were all sidelined with injury for the clashes with Fulham and West Ham.
It remains to be seen how much longer the trio are out for. But Bielsa should be able to call upon Struijk.
The 22-year-old has missed the last three games after being sent off against Liverpool.
It was a big blow to not have the former Ajax youngster. No partnership has arguably looked better since Leeds were promoted than Struijk alongside Llorente.
In their absences, Bielsa has had to promote Charlie Cresswell to play with Liam Cooper.
Cresswell may have expected to simply get a chance while Leeds are down to the bare bones. But in truth, the 19-year-old has now left Bielsa with a tough decision to make.

Cresswell has been a revelation in the two games he has played. He was colossal in the Carabao Cup win at Fulham.
And he was lauded by many following the agonising defeat to West Ham on Saturday.
For that reason, Bielsa may now struggle to justify bringing Struijk back in against the Hornets.
Some fans may prefer to see Cresswell and Struijk line up together. But surely, there is no chance of Bielsa dropping Cooper.
With that in mind, Struijk must be the favourite to miss out.
That just highlights what a remarkable job Cresswell has done in his last two appearances.
