Arsenal loanee Daniel Ballard continues to make a name for himself away from the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners academy graduate hasn’t played a competitive game for his parent club yet.

But Arsenal and Northern Ireland fans are becoming increasingly impressed with his efforts.

Ballard was on loan at Blackpool last season and helped the Lancashire club earn promotion to the Championship.

The Arsenal defender is now on loan at Millwall and is firmly in their starting plans, having made five league appearances.

And this month, Ballard broke into double figures for senior international caps.

On Thursday, the 21-year-old made his 10th appearance for NI and helped his nation to a 0-0 draw with Switzerland.

Ballard is looking like a top talent with a high ceiling, and there’s plenty of excitement from fans of club and country.
