West Ham moved into the Champions League places last night with yet another win, this time away at Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.
The Hammers had to come from behind when Wilf Zaha opened the scoring early on. However, they did just that and did with aplomb, as a Tomas Soucek double and a third from Craig Dawson ensured David Moyes’ men left with all three points.
A number of Hammers players put in fine performances once again. Soucek was the standout with his two goals, while Aaron Cresswell also played well again, as did Jarrod Bowen.

However, it was the performance of Dawson which caught the eye of some West Ham fans on Twitter. The former West Brom and Watford man put in an assured display at the back alongside Angelo Ogbonna.
And despite being brought in as cover intially, Dawson impressed. Some West Ham fans, then, loved what they saw from Dawson and were all over social media praising his performance.
