‘Better than Scott Brown’ – Rangers fans hail Old Firm hero Ryan Jack

Ryan Jack etched his name into Rangers folklore by scoring the winner against Celtic in the Old Firm derby.

On 30 minutes, Jack converted a pull-back from Ryan Kent to score the only goal of the game.

It was Jack’s first goal for Rangers since his 2017 switch from Aberdeen. And what a time to get it as he got Ibrox rocking with his Old Firm winner.

This win took Steven Gerrard’s team level on points with arch rivals Celtic, although they still trail their Glasgow neighbours on goal difference.

And Jack’s strike strengthened their challenge to win the Scottish Premiership title as we enter the new year.

Rangers fans took to social media to heap praise on everyone in the team, including Jack.

The 26-year-old was not only responsible for scoring the winner, but his work in midfield was also commendable.

Alongside Ross McCrorie and Scott Arfield, Jack formed a formidable midfield trio which Celtic struggled to penetrate.

Here are some things that Rangers fans are saying on Twitter about Jack after the twice-capped Scotland international guided them to a famous Old Firm victory.
