‘Better than Ramos’: Some Spurs fans wowed by their 18-year-old’s international display last night

Spurs have an incredibly talented defender coming through the ranks in Maksim Paskotsi.

The 18-year-old has been making waves in the Tottenham academy since joining in September last year.

Paskotsi joined Spurs from Estonia’s Flora Tallinn, having already debuted for their senior team.

He arrived at Tottenham with two club trophies to his name – an Estonian Cup and an Estonian Super Cup – and has since won the Baltic Cup with his nation.

Paskotsi already has eight senior caps for his country – an amazing feat for an 18-year-old.

His latest appearance for Estonia came on Friday night, where he kept a clean sheet in the World Cup qualifying win over Belarus.

Paskotsi, a centre-back who can also play at right-back, featured in the latter position for the Sinisargid.

As per Whoscored, the Spurs gem had one shot and made one key pass, two tackles and two clearances.

Paskotsi also took 60 touches of the ball and made 34 passes with a 73.5 percent success rate.

Spurs fans were impressed with their young defender doing well once again on the international stage and praised him on Twitter:
