Liverpool fans have been left hugely impressed by Kaide Gordon’s performance for them against Hertha Berlin last night.
Big impact
Liverpool may have lost 4-3 on the evening, but Gordon did his first-team chances no harm.
The 16-year-old came on as a second half substitute and continued to look at home in Liverpool’s line-up, despite his tender years.
Gordon was a real threat going forward, as he showed off both his dribbling and creative skills.
And Liverpool fans were quick to praise the 16-year-old on social media website Twitter.
Making a splash
Gordon actually only joined Liverpool in January, but he has not taken long to make an impression.
The youngster has been a frequent scorer for the under-23 side, and his showings over pre-season have just confirmed that the Reds appear to have a special talent in their ranks.
Whether Gordon gets game time in Liverpool’s first-team over the season remains to be seen.
But he is now part of an exciting crop of youngsters breaking through at Anfield, alongside the likes of Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones.
