‘Better than Dier’, ‘get him in the first team’: Some Spurs fans wowed by 18-year-old’s display today
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Maksim Paskotsi’s performance for Spurs’ Under-18s today.
The 18-year-old defender has been making waves in the Tottenham academy since joining in September last year from Estonia’s Flora Tallinn.
Paskotsi, who had already debuted for Flora’s senior team, marked his debut for Spurs’ Under-18s with a goal, an assist and a clean sheet against Fulham in October.

He has made 13 appearances for Spurs in the U18 Premier League, scoring five goals – a superb tally for a centre-back.
Two of those goals came on Saturday as Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw against Reading in Wokingham.
The Estonia youth international opened the scoring for Matt Taylor’s side when he converted Romaine Mundle’s cross after just four minutes.
Reading equalised on 13 minutes through a penalty from Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan and then took the lead in the second half through Jahmari Clarke.
Paskotsi then rescued a point for Spurs with just two minutes left to play.
And following another great display, some Tottenham supporters sang the youngster’s praises on social media:
