Despite being on the pitch for just eight minutes in Arsenal’s pre-season friendly, Eddie Nketiah won man of the match against Bayern Munich. He scored a late winner to maintain Arsenal’s 100 per cent pre-season record.
The scores were level at 1-1 when Nketiah was introduced in the 82nd minute, alongside Tyreece John-Jules. The pair of substitutes combined to deliver victory for Arsenal.
After a corner was only half-cleared, John-Jules played a one-two inside the box and drilled a low cross into the path of Nketiah. The 20-year-old was in the right place at the right time to tap in.

Nketiah is building a reputation for scoring goals with nine in 10 Premier League 2 matches last season. He is ready for the step up to senior football and already has three first-team goals for Arsenal.
This summer, he has been linked with a summer move to Bristol City on loan (The Sun). Arsenal manager Unai Emery now needs to make a decision on Nketiah’s immediate future after another impressive performance during the pre-season tour to the United States.
Here are how Arsenal fans reacted to Nketiah’s display.
