A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Konstantinos Mavropanos’ latest performance on loan at Nurnberg.
The 22-year-old defender and Greece Under-21 international has been on the books at Arsenal since January 2018, when he joined from PAS Giannina.
However, injury issues have led to him making just eight first-team appearances with the North London club, much of his game time coming for the Under-23s (Transfermarkt).

In January, Mavropanos joined the 2. Bundesliga side on loan for the rest of the season, where he has made nine appearances to date.
Sadly, the 6ft 4in defender’s injury issues haven’t stopped, a pelvis injury seeing him ruled out of the last two games prior to German football’s suspension.
Since the restart, Mavropanos completed the full 90 minutes in three games and, against Bochum on Friday night, did very well in the first half.

However, a muscular injury meant he couldn’t come out for the second half as Nurnberg picked up their third draw in a row in a 0-0 stalemate, the side without a victory since the league’s return.
