Reported Leeds United target Ryan Kent put in a truly sensational display for Rangers as they humiliated their bitter rivals in Sunday’s Old Firm derby.

According to the Scottish Sun, Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa remains keen on the Ibrox winger, who has helped Steven Gerrard’s side win the Scottish Premiership title.

The outlet claims that Kent could now be the subject of a £15million bid as the Whites look to build on their impressive maiden Premier League season.

The 24-year-old has registered 12 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season, shining in the league en route to title number 55, as well as in the Europa League.

And on Sunday, Kent once again delivered where it truly mattered as he helped Rangers hammer Celtic 4-1 at Ibrox.

Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, he did grab an assist for his side and the Hoops players had no response to his quality.

Glasgow Live rated him 9 out of 10 and wrote: There’s not many words you can say about him but simply sensational.

“He ripped Celtic apart and was a constant thorn in the side of the Celtic defence. The best player on the pitch.”

Meanwhile, the Daily Record gave him 8 out of 10 and wrote: Key to the door for Rangers, operated in central role off the twin strikers and major creative force with vision and slight of foot.

“Wildly volleyed over the top with first half chance but pivotal role at Roofe’s opener.”

A 26th-minute goal from Kemar Roofe was followed immediately by a red card for Callum McGregor.

Although Odsonne Edouard equalised on the half-hour mark, Alfredo Morelos struck three minutes later for a 2-1 half-time lead.

Roofe then grabbed his second of the game and Gers’ third just before the hour, and Jermain Defoe capped off the victory with an injury-time fourth.

TBR View:

Kent has shown he’s truly a cut above for Rangers this season and surely it’s only a matter of time before he makes the step up to the Premier League.

That said, he seems happy at Ibrox and will get the chance to play in the Champions League next season, so he may not be in too much of a rush.

However, the more masterclass displays he continues to deliver, the more interest he’ll have from the Premier League and the more temptation there’ll be for him.
