‘Best player in Europe’ – Celtic fans discuss Ryan Christie

Celtic seem to have found a new first-team hero in Ryan Christie.

The attacking midfielder was little more than a bit-part player just a few months ago but his sensational form has seen him rise to prominence.

Christie got the ball rolling yesterday as Celtic recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.

After 13 minutes, Christie opened the scoring to continue his rich vein of form for both club and country.

The Scotland international helped his national side win promotion in the UEFA Nations League with wins over Albania and Israel.

And then he followed that up with a good performance in Celtic’s win over Hamilton.

The 23-year-old now has four goals in his last six appearances for the Bhoys, asserting himself as a key player in this Celtic side.

Christie has even penned a new contract after fighting his way into the starting line-up.

Celtic fans took to Twitter to once again praise Christie for his contributions as they charge ahead at the top of the league.
