Crystal Palace have officially confirmed that Luka Milivojevic has signed a new contract. The midfielder has penned a four-year deal with the Eagles, which will extend his stay at Selhurst Park until 2023.
The 28-year-old joined the south London club from Olympiacos in 2017. Since then he has established himself as a fan favourite and become the club captain. Roy Hodgson will be delighted that the Serbian has committed his future to the club.
The No. 4 is a key player for the Eagles. He brings composure and craft to their midfield. He is also a reliable goalscorer. The 30-cap Serbia international notched 12 Premier League strikes last season, the majority of which came from the penalty spot. This tally made him the club’s top scorer for the second consecutive campaign.

After a difficult transfer window, in which Crystal Palace retained the services of Wilfried Zaha, but failed to sign a much-needed striker, the news of Milivojevic’s new contract will give the whole club a lift. Hodgson will expect the midfielder to continue to be an influential player for his side this season.
Following the announcement of Milivojevic’s new contract, plenty of Crystal Palace fans took to Twitter to celebrate.
