A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have welcomed the return of Baggies legend Chris Brunt to The Hawthorns as a coach with the club’s academy.
The 36-year-old, who made 421 appearances for West Brom and scored 49 goals, will assist Under-23s boss Deon Burton.
Brunt’s return comes less than 12 months after he ended his 13-year playing spell at Albion last summer to join Bristol City.

The Northern Irishman, who won three promotions to the Premier League with West Brom, subsequently left the Robins by mutual consent in January amid struggles with injury.
Brunt’s appointment follows the pathway of recently-retired duo James Morrison and Boaz Myhill who joined the club’s academy to begin their respective coaching journeys.
“I’m delighted to be able to begin coaching at the club I have called home for so many years of my playing career,” Brunt told the West Brom media team.
“I’m grateful to the club, in particular Luke Dowling, for making this opportunity available to me.
“We began discussing this role at the start of the year when injury had ended my time with Bristol City and I’m looking forward to a new challenge.
“I hope I will be able to pass on my experiences to younger players making their way in the game.”
Plenty of West Brom fans are delighted to see Brunt back at The Hawthorns and, taking to social media, congratulated the club and the legend for making the move happen:
