Thankfully, the 30-year-old has made a full recovery.

Jimenez featured in today’s pre-season friendly against Crewe, starting the game with a protective headband on.

18-year-old Fabio Silva filled in for most of 2020/21, but he struggled to impose himself in the Premier League.
