Manchester City stars Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker have been included in UEFA’s Team of the Tournament for Euro 2020.
UEFA announced on their official Twitter account that the City duo featured in the XI. Manchester United’s Harry Maguire also made the final team from an England side that made it all the way to the final.
Sterling and Walker were key to England’s quest to the final at Wembley Stadium. However, the Three Lions fell at the final hurdle as Italy beat the hosts 3-2 on penalties.

The City winger scored three goals in the tournament, including winners against Croatia and the Czech Republic.
Whereas Walker was a titan at the back for England. Furthermore, the fullback was one of the few defenders to not be dribbled past all tournament.
The defender also further established himself as a cornerstone for Gareth Southgate’s side.

Indeed, the duo, as well as John Stones, represented City well for England at the Euros. Moreover, supporters on social media are proud that Sterling and Walker have been recognised by UEFA for their efforts this summer.
