Liverpool are through to the next round of the Champions League after a pulsating 1-0 win over Napoli at Anfield. A goal from Mohamed Salah proved the difference as Liverpool picked up the win they needed against their Italian opponents.

Last season, Liverpool’s Champions League final hopes were essentially botched by goalkeeper Loris Karius. The German flopped twice in the final as Real Madrid were triumphant.

It was the reason why Liverpool paid a then world record £66.9 million on the Brazilian from Roma.
