Everton snapped up Brazilian winger Bernard in the summer on a free transfer after his exit from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 26-year-old has quickly become a regular in the Toffees side and showed glimpses of quality in wide areas.
He is a 5ft 4in pocket-sized attacker trying to find consistency at Goodison Park and he’s not quite had the same impact as summer signings like Richarlison or Andre Gomes.
The main area letting Bernard down so far is his quality when he gets to the final third and the fact he’s yet to score in 13 appearances highlights a lack of composure in front of goal.
The creative playmaker needs to smarten up in goalscoring areas and that should help him take his game to another level.

Bernard could easily go on to become a genius signing by the Merseyside club if he starts scoring goals, considering they got him for free in the summer.
Centre-forward Richarlison has understandably grabbed the attention for his stellar displays so far this campaign, but his Brazilian teammate has the technical ability to excel too.
It’s up to Silva to try unlock the one key skill in Bernard’s game that separates the good players from the great.
