Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Benfica star Haris Seferovic as both Premier League sides look to sign a striker – and Benfica fans have reacted on Twitter to the link.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo have claimed 27-year-old striker Seferovic is interesting both London sides, as Spurs look to find cover for Harry Kane who has torn his hamstring. West Ham are keen to bring in competition for Sebastian Haller.
Seferovic is somewhat of a journeyman among European clubs, having played in Germany with Frankfurt, Spain with Real Sociedad, Italy with Fiorentina and now Portugal with Benfica. He has scored 40 goals in 107 games for Benfica.

The Switzerland international scored 34 goals in 80 league and cup outings for Benfica during his first two seasons at the club, but this season has managed just six in 27 outings – 12 of which have been from the substitutes bench.
The report claims that Seferovic has a release clause in his contract worth a whopping £51million, but the Portuguese side are likely to let Seferovic depart the Portuguese side if offers of £25million are received.
Benfica fans reacted on Twitter to the reported news, and many supporters are keen to see him leave the club – perhaps suggesting sarcastically that either of the Premier League sides should take a chance on the striker.
