Ben Parker has given huge praise to Leeds United prospect Cody Drameh, who is impressing in the Under-23s side this season.
The 19-year-old completed a move to Elland Road in the summer from Premier League rivals Fulham.
He is an all-action right-back that has represented England’s Under-20s age group and is being tipped for a big future.
The London-born defender has quickly established himself as a nailed-on starter for Leeds’ youth team this campaign and played in the recent 4-1 win over Burnley in a Premier League 2 fixture.
Drameh is yet to feature in the first-team squad, but senior boss Marcelo Bielsa won’t be hesitant to throw the youngster in if he feels he’s good enough.
Parker has highlighted that the teenager’s biggest strength is his defending with back to goal.
“Cody Drameh, his strength is one v one defending. He loves defending. There has not been too many players I’ve seen this season that gets the better of him in a one v one duel. I love to see that,” Parker told the LS11 podcast.
“What I’ve seen added to his game this season is getting forward, he’s trying to join in down the right-hand side.”

TBR’s View:
Drameh ticks a lot of boxes for Leeds, as he’s shown he’s got the versatility to play as a centre-back. He is a right-back by trade that needs to eye a breakthrough in 2021 by making the step up.
It may be a thankless task trying to replace senior Leeds full-back Luke Ayling in the next year. Drameh has the perfect role model in Ayling to try learn from and he should be strive to become his understudy.
