Ben Parker named Elia Caprile as his man of the match on Leeds United’s official YouTube channel following the Whites’ under-23s’ draw with Fulham on Monday.
Mark Jackson’s men went into their clash in London having wrapped up the title in their previous fixture.

However, it initially appeared that they were not planning to take their foot off the gas as Sam Greenwood gave them an early lead with a superb finish.
But Leeds were unable to sustain their early dominance. Fulham grew into the contest and arguably created the better chances from there – particularly in the second-half.

However, Caprile was equal to almost everything the home side threw at him. He made an outstanding stop in the first minute. And he followed it with several other superb saves.
Leeds were not at their best over the course of the afternoon. And Parker suggested that Caprile was the standout performer for Jackson’s men when asked to name his man of the match.
“I think Elia’s been really good,” he told Leeds United’s official YouTube channel. “As you mentioned, he’s made some big saves, big moments, and really kept us in the game in the second-half.
“You’ve touched upon moments earlier, a game of two halves. We were the best team in the first, Fulham the best in the second, so on the balance, you’d say a point’s a fair result.”
Caprile’s stock has certainly risen over the course of the campaign. Admittedly, he is yet to make his first-team debut for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
However, he has been on the bench on a number of occasions. And should Kiko Casilla leave at all this summer, it would be no surprise to see Bielsa put his faith in the 19-year-old rather than find another understudy for Illan Meslier.
