Ben Johnson reacts to West Ham win on Instagram; Rice and Fornals reply

Pablo Fornals and Declan Rice have responded with messages lauding Ben Johnson after the youngster took to Instagram following West Ham United’s win over Sheffield United.

Goals from Rice, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks gave the Hammers the three points at the London Stadium.

The game saw another impressive performance from Johnson. The 21-year-old, once again, started on the left of a back five alongside Aaron Cresswell.

And once again, the youngster gave a very good account of himself. He provided plenty of energy and was not afraid to try and contribute in attack.

It was another reminder of Johnson’s potential. The academy graduate deserves huge credit for looking as comfortable on the left as he looks on the right – which had been considered his strongest role when he initially burst onto the scene.

And it appears that his teammates were just as impressed by Johnson’s performance.

The starlet took to social media following to win to express his delight at the victory.

And in response, the likes of Rice and Fornals were full of praise for his display. Rice described his performance as outstanding.
