Liverpool defender Ben Davies will turn down the advances of both Celtic and Bournemouth to stay at Anfield this summer.
Davies has been linked with a move away this summer. It comes after he failed to make an impact following a last-minute January move from Preston.
However, according to a fresh report from the Mirror, Davies has quickly made his mind up over his future and will stay with Liverpool for the new season.

News of Davies’ stay will be pleased for Jurgen Klopp. After last season’s disastrous injury crisis, he’ll want as many fit bodies as he can for the upcoming campaign.
Despite failing to pick Davies as yet, Klopp has previously compared his situation to that of Andy Robertson. The German coach suggesting that time is needed with Davies, as it was with the Scottish superstar.
Davies did make the bench eight times last term. However, an injury in April ended his chances of ever making his debut. The defender, then, will be hoping for much better things this coming year.
Depth
While Liverpool will go after the big trophies, it’s so important to have squad depth so that people can be well rested. Davies will get some minutes this year, with the League Cup and FA Cup his most likely outlets.
The Preston man will be determined to prove he can make it. If he doesn’t, then he’ll not struggle getting a move, given how long Celtic have courted him.
For Klopp, it’s great to see such commitment. Davies is a good player who probably just needs work. In time, he could be a good player for the Reds.
