'Beginning to panic': Some Rangers fans think they've spotted clue key player's leaving

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have expressed concern after the Ibrox club’s home kit launch and marketing promo material didn’t feature Alfredo Morelos.

Morelos is one of the Scottish Premiership’s standout talents, having weighed in with an impressive 77 goals and 29 assists for Rangers since his move to Ibrox from HJK Helsinki in 2017.

Given his talents, transfer speculation is never far away – according to a report from May, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are all interested in signing the 24-year-old.

Celtic strike Premier Sports deal - is this the "additional value" we've been waiting for?

Earlier this week, meanwhile, Morelos’ agent Miki Bouraoul told Calcio Napoli 24 that he had discussed a possible move with Napoli, the player himself apparently preferring a move to Italy.

Given the uncertainty around Morelos’ future, it was worrying that he was nowhere to be seen on any of the marketing for what is Rangers’ biggest retail campaign in a decade.

Furthermore, the Gers changed their wallpaper to five shirts hanging in the changing room, and Morelos, arguably their flagship player, wasn’t a name on the back of any of them.

Needless to say quite a few Bears were concerned on social media:
