‘Begging’: Liverpool fans want Diogo Jota back for Roberto Firmino ASAP

Liverpool lost out in the Merseyside derby this evening as Everton scored a priceless win at Anfield.

Goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson were enough for the Toffees to secure a memorable win at their neighbours, while for Liverpool, it was back to the drawing board.

For the Reds, there was little to cheer about in terms of performances. In fact, hardly anyone put in an effort worth of praise from fans on Twitter, which is unusual for Liverpool

One player who came in for criticism was Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian has flattered to decieve at times this term and some Reds fans believe if Diogo Jota was fit, Firmino could well find himself out of the team.

And that was one of the discussion points on Twitter this evening. Some Liverpool fans believe Firmino is on borrowed time, with Jota waiting in the wings for a return in the coming weeks.
