‘Becoming a concern’: Tottenham fans react to Giovani Lo Celso’s latest injury

Tottenham fans were torn between being annoyed and concerned last night as Giovani Lo Celso was once again confirmed as injured ahead of their game with Ludogrets.

Spurs ran out comfortable winners thanks in part to a Carlos Vinicius brace but the big news prior to kick-off was the news that Lo Celso was going to be ruled out with a training ground injury.

It’s not the first time the Argentinian has missed time this term thanks to a knock, and some Tottenham fans were quick to point out their concerns at Lo Celso’s injury record.

The £27m signing is a key player when fit but at the moment, doesn’t seem to be able to get going following the signing of his £70k-a-week contract in north London.

And that seemed to be the common theme on Twitter, too, as a number of Spurs fans expressed their concern at the midfielder being unavailable for selection once again.
