‘Beckham’: Arsenal teammates reply to Calum Chambers’ Instagram after draw

Calum Chambers was lauded by a number of Arsenal teammates on Instagram following the Gunners’ draw on Sunday, with Alexandre Lacazette labelling the defender a champion, while Folarin Balogun compared him with David Beckham.

Chambers was a star of the show at the London Stadium. Mikel Arteta’s men fought their way back from 3-0 down to draw with West Ham in an incredible game.

The 26-year-old put in a number of dangerous crosses. It seems almost remarkable to think that he was making only his second Premier League appearance of the season.

And Chambers seemed to perfectly sum up how many Arsenal fans would have felt about the game as the England international took to social media following the draw.

Unsurprisingly, a number of his teammates were quick to heap praise on the former Southampton man.

It is surely fair to say that he was one of the most impressive performers on show. And Arsenal would have found it even tougher to turn the momentum of the game had it not been for his quality down the right flank.

It has not been an easy time for Chambers. He has only appeared a handful of times during Arteta’s tenure due to injury.
