Arsenal fans were loving the performance of new goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson tonight, as the Gunners comfortably saw off Dundalk in the Europa League.
Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock put the game more or less to bed just before half-time, before Nicolas Pepe got in on the goalscoring act before Mikel Arteta rang the changes in terms of subs.
It was a comfortable night in the main for the Gunners, who saw off their Irish opposition with the ease many expected.
Arsenal fans, too, were excited to see new stopper Runarsson in action. The Icelandic stopper arrived in the summer as the replacement for Aston Villa bound, Emi Martinez.
And despite having little to do, some Arsenal fans were impressed with Runarsson’s display, particularly his ability with the ball at his feet.
A quick look at Twitter suggests that Arsenal fans are pretty happy with their new man in the sticks.
Runarsson running out to the halfway line to take care of a ball, love him #ARSDUN

Runarsson has been good you know, not a bad option when we eventually have more possession
