'Beautiful': BBC pundit loved what Spurs 24-year-old did in 65th minute v Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur have made it two Premier League wins in a row as Antonio Conte’s charges beat Brentford on Thursday.

Spurs were eager to get back to winning ways following their Conference League loss last time out, with Sunday’s game at Burnley called off due to the weather.

And Tottenham looked much improved against the newly-promoted Bees as Son Heung-min forced the opener and then netted the second.

Spurs took the lead in the 12th minute when Sergi Canos turned the South Korea international’s cross into his own net.

Son then got himself on the scoresheet in the 65th minute to make sure of all three points.

The 29-year-old started a superb counter-attack, with Harry Kane releasing the ball ahead of Sergio Reguilon.

The 24-year-old, with plenty of space down the left, played a pinpoint ball towards Son, who duly slotted home.

BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Glenn Murray loved Reguilon’s contribution, saying (2/12, 20:55): “Finally they hit their groove!

“They picked their passes at the perfect moment. It is just a tap in. It is a beautiful ball by Sergio Reguilon.”

Spurs’ victory puts them just two points outside the Premier League top four.
