New Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers wants to sign Macedonian midfielder Elif Elmas during the summer transfer window, according to the Sunday People, 10/03, page 53.
The Fenerbahce playmaker has caught the eye of the Foxes boss, who got his first win in charge at the King Power Stadium against struggling Fulham on Saturday.
But Rodgers faces stiff competition for the teenager, as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all on his trail as well.
However, a move to the Midlands would surely offer Elmas a greater chance of getting gametime than a switch to a European giant, which is the main way they could hope to get the edge in the summer race.

Beating illustrious competition to snare a young prospect would be exciting for the Leicester supporters and although he would have to improve greatly and adapt well to be a success at the King Power, Elmas is the type of player Rodgers surely needs to implement his Leicester overhaul.
The Northern Irishman has always used young players to carry out his exciting technical vision of football and Elmas fits into that well, and has decent experience for a 19-year-old – with eight senior international caps to his name already.
