Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero completed the full 90 minutes last night as Argentina picked up a 1-0 win over Brazil.
The 25-year-old missed Tottenham’s last game against Wolves as he’s currently serving a three-match suspension after being sent off in the defeat to Chelsea.
Cristian Romero was one of Spurs’ standout performers beforehand, starting in every single game under Ange Postecoglou.

It will surely benefit Spurs for Romero to get some minutes under his belt for Argentina as he’s set to return to action next month.
And it seems the defender has carried his exceptional form into the international break.
Argentine media stunned by Romero’s display against Brazil
TyC Sports handed Romero a 10 out of 10 rating for his display against Brazil last night.
The Spurs vice-captain was tasked with dealing with the threats of Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
And it would appear that Romero stuck to his task brilliantly, with the media labelling him a ‘beast’ after his performance.
They wrote: “Cuti is a beast. He is not just personality.
“He scores and plays, scores and scores. And he took one over the line that was worth a goal.”

Romero has been in exceptional form this season and it was a huge shame to see him lose his cool against Chelsea.
The Argentine defender had seemed transformed under Postecoglou at the beginning of the campaign, striking up an excellent partnership with Micky van de Ven.
Of course, the Dutchman now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury.
But Tottenham will welcome Romero back next month after a trip to Manchester City and it feels vital the defender returns at his best.
It’s no secret that Eric Dier isn’t exactly well-suited to Postecoglou’s style of football and Romero had been integral to Tottenham’s early-season form.
