Manchester United fans have been having their say on social media after reports emerged that Newcastle have agreed a deal to sign Brandon Williams on loan.

The Shields Gazzette claims Newcastle have agreed a deal in principle to land Williams on loan, however, they are waiting a final decision from Man United over whether the deal happens.

However, Williams is a wanted man and reports today also claim Southampton and others are keen, while it is believed United haven’t yet made their mind up over whether to allow the youngster out.

Nevertheless, Man U fans have been discussing the potential loan for Williams on Twitter, and most seem open to the idea of him moving to former defender Steve Bruce in the northeast.
