‘Be fuming if this happens’: Some Liverpool fans react to transfer report involving Leeds

A number of Liverpool fans have reacted to the transfer report claiming Leeds ace Raphinha is now a PSG target.

The Reds have been linked with the Elland Road star for a while now.

The Independent claimed in September that Liverpool have been tracking Raphinha since 2016 and are still interested in the Whites man.

The outlet reported that Raphinha was deemed not ready for the Premier League as he first joined Sporting Lisbon, then Rennes.

Leeds subsequently swooped in last summer to bring Raphinha to the Premier League for a reported £17million.

He has turned out to be a bargain for Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit, clocking up nine goals and nine assists from 39 appearances.

Raphinha also made his Brazil breakthrough in October, registering two goals and two assists from just three appearances.

It’s understandable that Liverpool are reportedly still eyeing the 24-year-old, given how good he is.

However, they’ve got a much harder job on their hands now that PSG are apparently in pursuit of Raphinha.

Neymar has reportedly talked Raphinha up to his club’s hierarchy, and they’ve now reportedly set their sights on the Leeds man.
