Liverpool have an absolutely outstanding squad at present as the Reds seek to give Jurgen Klopp the best last season at Anfield he could possibly hope for.

From veterans like Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to stars of the future like Harvey Elliott, everyone within the Liverpool camp is pulling their weight in pursuit of glory.

One player who has well and truly burst onto the scene at Anfield this season is Conor Bradley, who could well give Trent Alexander-Arnold a challenge when he returns to fitness.

The 20-year-old went into the 2023/24 campaign having already made five competitive appearances for Liverpool. Now, he has 23 senior outings to his name.

Bradley is also impressing for Northern Ireland. The young right-back won his 14th cap for his nation on Tuesday night as they ran out 1-0 winners in a friendly over Scotland.

Indeed, the Liverpool prodigy scored the winner for Northern Ireland, netting his maiden goal for his nation on 32 minutes.

Bradley capitalised on a Nathan Patterson error to fire a superb effort – via the help of a deflection – into the top corner of their Euro 2024-bound opponents’ net.

What have BBC Sport pundits said about Liverpool and Northern Ireland ace Conor Bradley?

BBC Sport pundit Neil McCann praised Bradley’s effort on BBC Scotland, whilst also admitting the Scots had not covered themselves in glory in the build-up.

“Conor Bradley is fast becoming a really important player for this Northern Ireland side,” he said.

“But it comes from some really poor decision making from a Scotland perspective. It’s those defensive frailties again.”

Meanwhile, Stephen Robinson told BBC Two NI: “It gets a little bit of a deflection but it’s a fantastic finish.

“Northern Ireland have settled into the game and Scotland are not a threat at this moment in time.

“The Northern Ireland shape has been excellent and when we do press up the pitch, we are getting the rewards.”

Liverpool have been arguably the best club in the Premier League in recent years when it comes to producing young stars.

The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah and Harvey Elliott have all become established first-teamers under Klopp.

Conor Bradley seems very much like the the next in line. He is an outstanding talent and it’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop for Liverpool and Northern Ireland.

Credit also to the Anfield club’s youth setup for the role they played in turning another top prospect into a genuine Premier League star. His future really does look very bright.
