Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn scored a “top notch” goal for Scotland that should have more people “shouting from the rooftops”, according to BBC Sport pundit Billy Dodds.
The Villans ace netted a stunning overhead kick to help his nation come from behind to claim a 2-2 draw with Austria in their World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.
Austria’s Sasa Kalajdzic broke the deadlock in the 55th minute by netting on the rebound after David Marshall had palmed Florian Grillitsch’s effort into his path.

Scotland levelled through 71 minutes as Grant Hanley headed home from Stephen O’Donnell’s free kick for his first international goal in eight years.
Kalajdzic then put Austria ahead again as the 6ft 7in striker outjumped Jack Hendry to nod Stefan Lainer’s cross into the top corner.
And then came McGinn’s moment of magic five minutes from time, an acrobatic overhead kick after Ryan Christie returned a corner into the Austria box.
“If one of the greatest in the game did that we’d be shouting from the rooftops,” Dodds told BBC Sportsound (21:58).
“So when one of our own do something like that? I’ll tell you what, it is top-notch.”
Scotland travel to Israel in their next World Cup qualifying group game on Sunday.
