Harry Kane and Cristian Romero starred for Tottenham Hotspur as they battered Crystal Palace 4-0 earlier this week.
Garth Crooks named both players in his Team of the Week on BBC Sport, and he believes Spurs look like a completely different side in the Premier League when Antonio Conte starts Kane and Romero together.

BBC pundit says Tottenham look completely different when Kane and Romero start together
Tottenham’s first game back after the World Cup was at home against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
It was never going to be an easy game, but many expected Conte’s men to get the job done as they were playing in their own backyard. However, Villa made them look extremely average that afternoon and deservedly picked up a 2-0 win.
Romero wasn’t yet back from Argentina, while Kane, even though he played, had a game to forget.
Against Crystal Palace this week, both Romero and Kane started, and Spurs got the job done in emphatic style. Even though they didn’t start the game well, they managed to keep the hosts from scoring thanks to the Argentine’s brilliant defending.
Then, Spurs battered them in the second half thanks to the Englishman’s brace.
Crooks said about the duo: “With Harry Kane up front and Cristian Romero at the back, Spurs looked a completely different outfit.

“Admittedly, Tottenham were very unconvincing in the first half against Crystal Palace but Kane’s predatory instincts and appetite for goals simply destroyed anything Palace had to offer.
“I said recently, when I selected Kane in my team after his performance against Brentford, just how important it was for Tottenham that the England striker returned to work without having been psychologically scarred by the World Cup.
“His displays have been exemplary since his return. This is a player with enormous mental strength and Spurs are exceptionally lucky to have him.”
About Romero, he said: “A clean sheet at last. There haven’t been many of those for Spurs recently. Now they have Cristian Romero back from a successful World Cup campaign, things are starting to look more positive for Tottenham.
“The Argentine defender was outstanding for his country and seemed to bring the same assured confidence with him from Qatar to Selhurst Park. Spurs have been struggling in games recently, particularly in defence, but Romero’s presence against a Palace side who dominated the first half made a significant difference.”
Tottenham take on Portsmouth in the FA Cup next and we expect both Romero and Kane to get a rest. Spurs’ next league game, however, is against Arsenal at home, and if Conte’s side are to take anything from that game, these two will have to step up.
