BBC Pundit says £50m striker would be an unreal signing for Arsenal

Arsenal will be desperate to win the Premier League title this season after a couple of close calls over the last two years.

The Gunners have run Manchester City incredibly close in each of the last two seasons, and they will be looking to go one step further this term.

However, in order to do that, Arsenal may need to find a clinical goalscorer.

Arsenal haven’t got that natural striker leading their line at the moment, and they have been linked to a number of exciting striking options this summer.

Victor Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal, and according to Don Hutchison, speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Osimhen would be a gamechanger of a signing for Arsenal.

Victor Osimhen would be a gamechanger for Arsenal

The pundit shared his verdict on who Arsenal need to sign.

“I think they (Arsenal) need one more (signing), and that one more is a striker. Me and Nigel and Glenn and yourself have seen Victor Osimhen play over the years,” Hutchison said.

“You know how good he is, and he is a gamechanger for them. Are Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz going to be the man to try and get anywhere near Erling Haaland’s numbers? Probably not.”

Victor Osimhen could be a fantastic signing

Victor Osimhen could be a remarkable signing for Arsenal.

The £50m Napoli striker is, somehow, still available towards the end of the transfer window, and he could be just the player Arsenal need.

Osimhen has it all, he’s a fantastic finisher, he’s as strong as an ox, and he’s absolutely rapid.

The Napoli star is exactly the type of striker Arsenal need, and if a deal is possible before the end of the summer transfer window, Edu needs to get it done.

This would be a blockbuster signing to end the transfer window for the north London club.
