‘Outstanding’: BBC pundit in awe of two Tottenham players for how they performed against West Ham

It was the Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son show once again for Tottenham this evening as the Spurs duo put West Ham to the sword live on Sky Sports.

Kane ended up with a hat-trick of assists in the end while Son got two goals and was unlucky not to nab a hat-trick himself against the Hammers. Son’s clinical nature in front of goal ensured there was no route back for West Ham, with the South Korean’s late goal killing off any hopes the Hammers might have had.

These sorts of performances from Kane and Son have become the norm for Tottenham. And watching on for BBC Sport today, pundit Clinton Morrison labelled the pair as ‘outstanding’ for their efforts.

“A brilliant game, it’s been outstanding. Tottenham deserve this. They were the better team. Kane and Son were outstanding,” Morrison said of the Spurs duo.

Antonio Conte will be hoping his key pair come back from international duty fit and raring to go.

TBR’s View: No Better Pair In The Premier League

Make no mistake about it, Kane and Son walk into any Premier League team at the moment. They are simply brilliant and their form has been immense of late.

With the pair firing like they are, Tottenham have a genuine chance of usurping Arsenal in this top four race. On another day, too, Kane probably gets himself on the scoresheet.
