Clinton Morrison has told BBC Sport that Tanguy Ndombele did brilliantly to score against West Ham on Thursday, suggesting that he showed what he never did at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hammers’ quarter-final tie with Lyon in the Europa League is finely poised after the first-leg. It was a dramatic night at the London Stadium.

Aaron Cresswell was sent off for bringing down Moussa Dembele when the striker was potentially through. The left-back did not make much contact. And some may argue that there was enough cover. However, the decision was not overturned.
Nevertheless, it was the home side who took the lead thanks to Jarrod Bowen early on in the second-half.

But Ndombele levelled the game after the hour-mark. The Tottenham loanee reacted fastest to Ryan Fredericks failing to deal with a cross into the six-yard box.
The Frenchman had also started the move. And his overall performance for the Ligue 1 side was impressive.
Certainly, Morrison felt that Ndombele showed a side of him that Tottenham fans rarely saw.
“Ndombele makes that goal and gets in the box to finish it,” he told BBC Sport.
“He plays a brilliant incisive ball to Tete, who does ever so well and squares up Ben Johnson.
“Ndombele does what he never did at Tottenham, making the box and sticking it into an empty net.”
Tanguy Ndombele display may help Tottenham this summer
Offloading Ndombele is not going to be easy for Tottenham. He is their record signing. And he earns a lot of money.
He clearly has real talent. But he has struggled under a number of managers in North London. And not everything has gone to plan since his move in January.
However, displays like the one on Thursday will help. Ndombele shone for Lyon.
Reports have claimed that they want to keep him on loan next season. Perhaps it is still possible that he could attract more significant bids when the window opens.
