'Really impressed': BBC pundit blown away by Leeds player who was 'absolutely everywhere' at Palace today

Leeds United lost out at Crystal Palace today as Jesse Marsch saw his side throw away an early lead to go down 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

The Whites had looked on course to pick up a big three points but a goal from Odsonne Edouard on 25 minutes and a 76th minute winner from Ebere Eze ensured it was a trip back up the M1 with nothing for Marsch and his side.

However, while things might not have ended well for Leeds overall, there was praise for Tyler Adams from the BBC’s Sam Parkin. The former Millwall was the guest on comms today and he was full of praise for the summer signing.

‘I’ve been really impressed with Leeds. Tyler Adams has been really impressive so far, he’s been absolutely everywhere, keeping it simple in possession but just winning the second balls and that’s what you get from Leeds United,” Parkin said on BBC Sport comms.

Adams has been among a number of new Leeds signings to impress since arriving. The likes of Brenden Aaronson have also impressed, while Luis Sinisterra had also looked good until getting sent off.

For Leeds though, it was another poor result and one they’ll feel they could have avoided. Certainly, there is food for thought for Marsch.

TBR’s View: Adams Looking Good For Leeds

It was a bitter blow to not take anything from the game but Marsch will no doubt try and take the positives and Tyler Adams was one of them today.

Sure, he was on the losing side and might have done better in the second 45 minutes at times. But on the whole, Adams is looking like a shrewd signing by Leeds and there looks like there’s more to come.
